After completion of the assembly work, OKO-tech successfully commissioned a treatment plant for the neutralization and heavy-metal precipitation at the beginning of February. Up to 30 m³/h of acidic wastewater from a pickling process can be treated by the system. Efficient control of the neutralization process combined with the matched heavy-metal precipitation as well as downstream gravel filters and ion exchangers ensure reliable compliance with the limit values for indirect discharge in accordance with Annex 40 of the German Waste Water Ordinance (AbwV). The high degree of automation relieves employees of control and monitoring activities. Using the best available technology (BAT) ensures successful treatment of industrial wastewater.
